The Association of Eco-sustainable Reusable Container Logistics Operators was created in 2010 in order to promote reusable plastic containers as an environmentally friendly product. Through a strategy aimed primarily at the food distribution sector press and media specializing in the environment, Areco has achieved visibility for the organization and become a benchmark for the industry press. Since 1994, Report has managed the group’s internal and external communications and public and institutional relations as the company’s only press office. The Zena Group is the leader in the multi-brand and multi-format catering sector in Spain. Zena comprises 7 brands covering all segments of catering: Burger King and Domino´s Pizza (franchisee); Foster´s Hollywood, Cañas y Tapas and Il Tempietto (franchisor) and La Vaca Argentina and Nostrus (own operation). Report Comunicación has worked for the Zena Group since its foundation, guiding and advising each of its brands in public relations. Premursa / Paramount Park and LifeStyle Center
The company, Proyectos Emblemáticos Murcianos S.A. (PREMURSA), is promoter of Europe’s first Paramount theme park and of the Lifestyle Center, being built in Alhama in Murcia. This project will create 22,601 jobs and promote an international tourist destination, expected to be visited by over 3 million people a year. Report Comunicación has been working on this project since its inception in 2011. This is a multiyear communication and public relations plan that will adapt to the various phases of the project, which is scheduled to open in 2015. After a successful worldwide presentation in Madrid in October 2011 and the laying of the foundation stone in May 2012, Report is currently working on the preparation of various strategic plans of action (in order to apply them in the different phases); and on the development of corporate and press material, interview management, reports, etc., both nationally and internationally.
Quirón Hospital Group
The Quirón Hospital Group is one of Spain’s major private hospital groups, with seven general hospitals in Saragossa, Barcelona, Madrid, Bilbao, San Sebastian, Malaga and Valencia. In the last five years the group has opened four new hospitals. Report has managed the corporate communication in this expansion process, giving press coverage to its managers and positioning Quirón as a leading hospital group, as befits its size and presence in Spain. Report organized the opening of the Quirón hospitals in Bilbao and Malaga, which brought together the leading personalities of the social, political and economic scene of these provinces, thus achieving significant visibility for the act and for the brand.
ORPEA Ibérica is one of the leading companies in the management of dependency care centres and senior citizens’ centres in Spain. Backed by 23 years’ experience in care for the elderly, it has 21 homes and 16 day care centres in Spain. ORPEA Ibérica is a subsidiary of the French group, ORPEA, European leader in comprehensive dependency care. The group has a European network consisting 394 establishments, representing a total of 36,714 beds in Spain, France, Belgium, Italy and Switzerland. Report manages all the company’s communications, with particular emphasis on the local communication of the various centres of the group. Thus, we have succeeded in giving visibility to each of the homes through various actions to attract the attention of local media, of great interest to ORPEA’s plans for expansion.
Cantabria Infinita Quality Club
The Cantabria Infinita Quality Club was founded in 2000 under the auspices of the Government of Cantabria. Its purpose is to provide the region with a tourism management tool that reflects the excellence of the region’s tourism offer and maintain the extraordinary wealth of experience as an everyday occurrence to offer customers. The Quality Club comprises the best and most unique establishments in Cantabria: accommodation, restaurants, bars and taverns. The Government of Cantabria offered us a challenge: to publicize this exclusive Cantabrian product, unknown to the general public. Thanks to the development of a comprehensive communication plan, the Cantabria Infinita Quality Club has established itself as a benchmark of quality tourism in Cantabria in the specialist tourism media and in the national mainstream press. While a few years ago it was us who had to go to the media to present the Club, now it is the journalists themselves who seek us out as a benchmark of a successful tourism product. The annual presentation of the Quality Club Guide is, today, a major event that brings together industry experts and media; a demonstration of the Club’s consolidation as a tourist destination.
Tourism in Navacerrada
Navacerrada is one of Madrid’s most charming mountain villages. The Navacerrada Town Council hired Report Comunicación to change the image of Navacerrada— a place to go exclusively to ski (Puerto de Navacerrada)—, within one year, both in the media and in the minds of tourists. Report prepared an action plan in order to raise awareness of Navacerrada as a place that is more than just a ski resort; a place to enjoy cuisine, nature, sport, culture, etc. throughout the year. Over a 12-month period, we carried out both “Above the Line” and “Below the Line” actions: press trips, invitations to stakeholders, sponsorships, development of press materials, etc. A year of intense communication and public relations activity in which the village of Navacerrada became known as a comprehensive tourist destination, to be enjoyed all year round and suitable for all types of people.
